Who is ESRAC?

YOU can be ESRAC if you choose to become part of the membership. You will join other members across Canada to network and help springers. Our members include springer owners, breeders, professional trainers and fanciers. Our members know that English Springer Spaniels add fun and laughter to life and make a great companion.

What is ESRAC?

ESRAC is a group of springer fans across Canada who wish to help rehome English Springer Spaniels by rehabilitation using veterinary care and training.

When did ESRAC begin?

We first attained our registered name and the status of non-profit society in December 2004. We were registered as a Charitable Organization as of March 17, 2005.

Why did ESRAC form?

Sadly, springers are not exempt from needing help to find a new home when their owner's life changes. Our charitable status in Canada allows us to write tax receipts for donations. By its creation, ESRAC can do work for springers and seek financial aid through grants and gaming licenses.

How do I become a member of ESRAC?

We ask that all springer fanciers, who wish to become a member of ESRAC, complete our Application for Membership form and sign the Code of Conduct. Membership is open to anyone 19 years of age and older who has a sincere wish to help springers find new homes.

What does membership cost?

We don't charge a membership fee. We ask that members do what they can for the society. Perhaps you can open your home to fostering a springer, do phone interviews with potential adoptors, transport a dog from a shelter to its foster home or fundraise by having a garage sale.

The ESRAC membership application and Code of Conduct is here.
