First Springer Parade of Rescues!

The first Parade of Rescues was held on April 13, 2007 at the Heritage Barn in Chilliwack, BC.
Our judge was Linda Murray of Misko Kennels, BC. Ms. Murray and her wonderful dogs compete in the conformation, obedience and agility rings. We were very fortunate that she was able to attend our event and honour our dogs with her kind words.

ESRAC would like to thank the English Springer Spaniel Club of Canada, the CKC and our gallery for their support during the planning of the Parade of Rescues and while we were in the ring.

Special thanks to Linda Lindt Photography, Ms. Bertie Nielson (Gleneire Kennels, BC) and Royal Canin for their donated awards.

Gibson proudly handles his caregiver, Doreen into the PoR ring! Look at his grin!

Annie is busy watching the lineup while Doug smiles at the camera. Annie signed autographs after the Parade as ESRAC's "Face" of rescue.

Cosmo was adopted through the hard work of Kathy Armstrong (ESRA, Inc) to Ted and Mary. He did exceptionally well in the ring and we are all very proud of him.

Molly, handled by Karen, greets the judge and is complimented on her conformation and good looks.

Tucker (aka Detroit, Troy and Buddy!!) has found his forever family with the Lauries and is proud to show them off!

Queen struts with her very fashionable handcrafted bandana and tells the judge that her handler Bonnie stayed up late to sew one for every rescue dog at the PoR!

Rupert and his handler Cheryl (ESRAC Director and Cat-Woman) greet the judge. Cheryl tells the judge that she took a wrong turn and someone gave her a leash with a dog attached. The judge kindly hands her back the gassy dog and says "Good Luck!"
